Sixth Form

Wherever you are currently studying, at The North School or elsewhere, the decision about your future place of study is one of the most important you have made so far. If you are already a student here, you will receive comprehensive and impartial information during Year 11 to help you decide where you wish to continue your studies.

The move to post-16 studies needs to be carefully considered, to ensure you give yourself the best possible opportunities for your future plans, whether that be University, an apprenticeship or traineeship, or the world of work.

Our aim at The North School Sixth Form is to ensure that you are as well prepared as possible for whatever you choose to do. To this end, we provide comprehensive careers and progression guidance throughout your time with us.

Our Sixth Form students are valued members of the whole school community, taking part in open days, peer mentoring schemes, awards evenings and whole school events. They are visible and positive role models for younger students and an integral part of day to day school life
