Pupil Premium
Overview
Pupil Premium is Government funding that a school receives in addition to its main funding. The Government believes that the Pupil Premium is a way to address the current inequalities between children eligible for free school meals (EFSM), children in Care (CLA) and children from service families (CSF), and their peers by ensuring that funding to tackle disadvantage reaches the pupils who need it most. This funding is used to provide a range of interventions across the school to support the progress of students at the school for whom the school receives Pupil Premium Funding.
The school Governors annually approve a Pupil Premium Policy.
